Lady Cee Jay
I am writing in memory of my dear ESA cat CeeJay, who just passed away on March 18th. I adopted her from you on November 23, 2013, at PetSmart in Twin Falls. She was 13 months old. We had 11 beautiful years together, and she was my best friend and companion I've ever had. I called her Lady(bug) most of her life... I want to honor her by reaching back out to you with my deep heartfelt gratitude that you rescued her, making it possible for me to find her. We honestly saved each other. She helped me pursue healthy lives for both of us. I loved her more than I thought possible. She was such a vocal and loving girl. She has 110% earned her angel wings. I miss her so much.
In early 2022, she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, and her life began to slow down. I gave her medication twice daily, and bloodwork at least twice a year. Then early this year her digestion started declining with ibs/ibd symptoms. She kept losing weight and became weak. We adjusted her diet, and kept her more comfortable with antibiotics as needed. It was a hard choice at the end to put her to sleep. Though she grew increasingly uncomfortable, she fought to stay alert and awake with me until the very end, her spirit was so strong... Our last 2 years were spent in a quiet neighborhood with a peaceful yard that she adored. Her favorite thing was sitting out in the sun. I spent as much time with her as I could, working less hours and resting with her. I needed that as much as she did.
Love Always,
Marsen
